Scan Posts/bodies are used in the digital impression process and serve as a reference point for the fabrication of the CAD/CAM abutment.
They are made from high-quality materials such as PEEK and Titanium grade 5. These components can be digitally captured using digital impressions, and a virtual model of the implant and the abutment are created to design and fabricate the CAD/CAM abutment precisely.
